The hotel was amazing. We got welcomed very friendly. The manager Maha was super helpful with everything. We got a superior room, which was good. The bed was good, airco worked well and bathroom was clean. Very silent room as well The pool was nice, refreshing and surrounded with nice beds/couches. When we were hanging around, the manager came to us and asked if we would like to have a drink We have had dinner, which was really well served. The local food was good, not too spicy, had some nice wine and the manager made us very happy with his service again. The location of the dinner is super romantic in a garden (when its dry) The manager adviced us to try the sri lankan breakfast, so we did. And he was right! Really nice and more than enough food The location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, in the jungle and close to a river. There are some nice views around the hotel, really silent

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting up country. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to us.
