The family went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The cabins are tastefully designed and the location along the river is beautiful. The sound of the water lulls you to sleep. It's an off-road adventure to reach the cabins! The father is a true gentleman who picked us up when our taxi broke down, and then also drove us to ella when a taxi driver couldn't be found. Amazing. They also organize treks into the rainforest. Plan at least 2 nights here: you'll love it!

I loved the peacefulness and great air quality in the place, Saman and Mesha were extremely accommodating and were excellent hosts I really felt like I was in my second home. The bungalow is clean and well insulated from insects and has all needed amenities. Saman is a great guide and Mesha is an amazing cook both very friendly and speak great English. I will really miss this place I can’t wait to come back!

The room was clean and spacious and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the river. Great spot for bird watching. The host family was great! Excellent and knowledgeable rainforest guide, and his parents who ran the kitchen cooked amazing meals. The food was outstanding!

Amazing spot near the river and walking distance from entrance of Sinharaja Rainforest. Vini and his family are extremely friendly and helpfull. He went out of his way to help us when needed. Great place if you’re interested visiting the rain forest 🌳 We did two excursions, specially the day walk was very memorable, very unique experience! We recommend doing that to everyone! The cabin was beautiful and clean with a lovely sitting area. So relaxing. Food was outstanding. And the host did his best to help us with the transport, such a kind person ( we came all the way from Ella). And the shower outside was special too:) THANK YOU
