The family owned Kasbah is an oasis hidden on our path to Merzouga. We were welcomed warmly and had a delicious slow cooked dinner with the best tajine we ate in Morocco so far. The room is very comfortable and has all you could need. We had breakfast in the morning in the garden, all fresh, homemade and locally sourced. We would love to come back in the future to stay longer and explore the Dades Valley

Great stay at Maison Isabel. It feels like home. The terrace is amazing with a beautiful view on the Monkey Paws and the canyon. You can also start the trek into the canyon from the house. It was just perfect. Also, Moha and his family are amazing hosts. Moha was so nice, very welcoming, and has a great sense of humor. We really felt comfortable staying there. I also have to mention that the tajine was one of the best tajines I've had in Morocco. I definitely recommend the place !

location is good and the room is big, it is cold in January but there is an AC in the room that you can turn on to heat the room, with only 20 euros per night, the owner is very generous to let us use the AC. some of the other places that are cheap they hide the ac remote controller so you can not use the AC. the views are absolutely beautiful. the owner is a local Berber he lives in the house right behind with his family

Amazing host, who brought us nice tea on the upstairs terrace. It's also a very beautiful riad! The room was clean, had a heater (needed in December) and was comfortable. The host gives you the option to have dinner at the riad, as there are no restaurants nearby. Keep this in mind if you plan to arrive later in the day. A tip from 2 travelers who did not do enough research: Don't expect to eat dates in the Dades Valley, as that's not what it means :P

Beautiful, peaceful property with gorgeous pool and other activities- table tennis, paddle ball, movie room, hammocks, etc available. Excellent food set in patio area. The manager connected us to a guide for a stunning hike through The Monkey Fingers gorge. Very memorable!

We had a fantastic stay at this place – a beautifully decorated Moroccan house with just two guest rooms. We were the only guests at the time, which made the experience feel even more special. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had a lovely view of the garden. There’s also gas heating in the room, which was great for the cooler nights. The house has a wonderful balcony where we you can enjoy breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared just for us, with local specialties – things like honey, olives and eggs really made it extra tasty. The owner was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Such a kind and friendly family – we were even invited to enjoy tea and homemade Berber pancakes with them, which was a truly special experience, especially for our daughter. They also gave us great recommendations for a small hike and a scenic drive in the area with our car. A truly warm and authentic Moroccan experience – we’d definitely come back!
