Everything went well - the staff was more than kind - they did laundry for us when we asked, printed our plane tickets, packed breakfast for us when we went for an out of town tour.. Our room was nice - equipped with toiletries, had extra blankets, it was cozy.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The riad is beautiful. The breakfast was huge and their mint tea was so good. The location was about 10 minutes from the blue gate.

If there were any flaws, the staffs Nadir, Omar & lady chef N compensated them all. The staffs were gems!! Very helpful, very pleasant and polite. The riad was just like what we imagine, beautiful! location was not too deep into the Medina, easily reachable via Bab Boujloud and the Batha post. Our room was on the top floor, next to the terrace and the rooftop seating. Bathroom with bidet for the toilet is a rare finding!! Dinner we had was fantastic and breakfast were nice and varies everyday, still traditional and adequate portion.

Breakfast was decent—simple but satisfying. The small pool in the courtyard added a refreshing touch, especially after exploring the busy streets of Fes. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace: quite spacious, with stunning views and a serene ambiance that made it ideal for unwinding. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Dar Bensouda to travelers looking for an authentic Moroccan stay with warm hospitality.

Abdelaziz goes out of his way to make your stay an excellent one! Wonderful host. The place is brand new, very clean and quiet, and a 3-4 minutes walk to the train station. Breakfast is included and the restaurant is a 1 minute walk from the guest house. The rooms are all on ground level so that was convenient.
