Tacheddirt is a magical place and Hassan has created the perfect refuge for visitors who want to get to know the village and some of the people who live here. The house is welcoming and charming, with a care for details and various spaces to enjoy the incredible view on the mountains, village, and valley below. There are two large and wonderful terraces and two common rooms. The spaces have wonderful colours. We had two generous meals during our stay and we went with Hassan for a two-hour hike around the village through a beautiful cascade and a valley with a river flow. We hope to be back in winter to see this valley in a completely different season.

The owner is very nice and helpful. He is a veteran guide who will gladely answer any question you have (about mountains, bikes, desert,...) you will get a lot of interesting traveling ideas from him. The room has everything you need and the view from the terrace is beautiful. Its located 3 min from city center.

The location and the views were remarkable. The area was peaceful and a short walk to the busier part of Imlil. There was a beautiful terrace where breakfast was served which we enjoyed while looking at the views all around. Breakfast was wonderful, with local Berber traditional foods and dinner was delicious, too! Said and his family took exceptional care of us and were always available to answer questions and to help us plan our time in Imlil. Taxis to and from Marrakech were easily arranged.

You won't find a more spectacular view of Imlil than from Amazigh Family Riad. Absolutely stunning. Similarly, Hassan is incredibly accommodating, responsive and helpful. We arrived in the middle of the night and he stayed up to welcome us. I was a little distraught and exhausted from the long drive and he related to me respectfully and with composure. He cares very much about his business and it shows. We will definitely be coming back next time through Imlil. His village is so peaceful, welcoming and serene. Also to note - we rely on working online and reviews pointed us to this Riad as the best location in Imlil for strong internet. We were able to successfully have video calls, though the connection was fairly unstable and we often completed meetings without video to avoid interruptions/lag. I still believe this is some of the best internet you'll find in Imlil, and this is just part of what you have to expect coming to a town high up in the Atlas Mountains. Worth it! But maybe book yourself some time off work if you're a remote worker.
