A fantastic farm experience with lots of cows, goats n beautiful cats. The hosts were helpful with the luggage n directions to town. The house is not quite central but we could easily rented some bikes from the hosts. We enjoyed beautiful rides by the canal to town n back. Breakfast is big. Totally enjoyed the stay.

    We discovered this hotel in 2019 and every time we visit our family in Meppel we stay here. It is located in the middle of a wooded area and one might think that they’ve taken a wrong turn, but don’t worry, you’re on the right path. The restaurant is very good and offers typical European food as well as a few Dutch specialties. and the breakfast buffet is well stocked. There is even a small swimming pool where you can relax or get a few short laps in before bed or breakfast.
