Rufus is located in the middle of the frisian countryside with only other farms around it. It has a very relaxing vibe that will take you out of your daily routines and instantly put you in a mood to enjoy the moment and not worry about anything else. There are many acitivities that you can do (rent out sailboats, SUP etc.) And they have a cute cafe/bar right on the waterfront. There you also get your breakfast; you pre-order the breakfast the day before so you get exactly what you want and nothing gets wasted, we really liked that. This is not a five-star hotel, so don't expect that standard. But the room and the facilities were clean and in good condition.

The breakfast was excellent, Richard & Henny were so very nice & since our flight required us to leave before breakfast, they packed it for us! I highly recommend for anyone!
