Though it’s a long drive to the house, but you can enjoy the unique lake view when driving, it’s totally different from driving on the mt cook road.

The 2 bedroom apartment is lovely, with many large windows looking out to the mountains. Kitchen has full utensils, oven, microwave... There's no supermarket around so be mindful to purchase your supplies in advance (in Geraldine town). At night, you can simply walk out to the yard for stars gazing.

I loved this hostel! In the most beautiful location with brand new, clean interiors. The bunk bed was comfy and private with a little reading light and curtain. Would recommend bringing earplugs in case of snoring neighbors. The staff were so nice and had great recommendations.
