The hosts were the best. They were very helpful and friendly while we were staying at their property. The service was exceptional. The location is very close to the airport. They gave us a pickup from the airport and sent us to pick up our rental cars. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quiet even though it is close to the state highway. The photos are accurate. Highly recommend.

It's definitely a five star top of the range hostel/hotel. Everything is new, and spotlessly clean. The staff are excellent, and the location is bang in the middle of town next to all the transport links. I can't fault it, it's truly the best I've ever been in. Davy

    Nice calm place. Came because children always wanted to stay at a farm. Fantastic host, who had help from to French students. Really Nice for kids to feed alpackas and meet the baby alpackas. Breakfast a bit basic for the Price.

    We stayed 2 nights at Silverstream upon arrival at Christchurch. We had fun feeding the Alpacas and the whole place feels quaint and relaxing. Kit who is the owner of this entire property is also very friendly. We were here during the winter season and we’re glad to learn that the beds were equipped with warmers to make our night rest a more comfortable one. A good Farmstay for families with young children.

    The kids love to play with the alpaca. The owner is sooooooo helpful, share some insight for our trip The surrounding, especially the river, is nice. The kids love to sit near the river, watching the ducks and the birds

    Lovely little cottage with plenty of outdoor space. Well set up kitchen, everything we needed. Generous breakfast provided. Loved the Alpaca Farm tour. Lots of fun for the kids. Highly recommended.
