I love this hostel a lot. This hostel is run by a lovely family and they are all really kind and friendly. They gave me some information about trekking spots and kept my bags during my Santa Cruz trekking. The room and all the facilities were spacious and perfectly clean. They also have a nice laundry service.

The main lodge area is very cozy, with many books and games, and I played Scrabble with a friendly German couple there in front of the fireplace. The manager was able to arrange driver service, since it is somewhat remote from the town itself, in a nice setting.

Our stay at Maimara Hotel was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and communicative; they are there to answer any questions you may have. The breakfast was delicious (especially the coffee) and the views amazing. The hotel is about a fifteen minute walk from the main downtown (and touristy) area of Huaraz, but the neighborhood is quiet and safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Maimara Hotel!

The family who owns Hatun Wasi are wonderful! This was my second time staying (first time in 2019) and the quality has not wavered. Everyone is so kind and patient, and they give great advice and recommendations. Breakfast was amazing, our room was clean and the shower was always hot. Would definitely return! Also the view!! Stunning!
