It is a beautiful property from 1400s nested in a lush vineyard. It is so vast that you are staying in your own private wine country villa. Luis is a wonderful host who makes sure you will have an amazing stay. This is THE place to stay in Douro. Try their own port and wine. It is great.

It was located in the old town with lots of shops and restaurants. It is a new property with four spacious rooms with 12 foot ceilings. It was once part of the post office building and the owner Paulo has taken a great measure of detail in adding a postal theme to the property. If you admire history and culture you will want to meet Paulo for a wonderful orientation. Although breakfast isn’t included there is a spacious area with utensils / dishes and coffee and tea for you to prepare on your own. There is a supermarket just a four minute walk away. As with locations in many old town areas parking is not included however there was ample paid on street parking within a one minute walk.
