Eduardo and his parents were kind and gracious hosts. They went out of their way to make our check in, stay and visits to the vineyard as convenient as possible. Eduardo also especially arranged a pick up and drop to and from the Pinhao railway station as he was available at the time and at a minimal fee. The place was beautiful and clean. We got to taste the Portuguese traditional cuisine for dinner and breakfast was good with plenty of options at the buffet.

A lovely stone house in a tiny village. Friendly and welcoming host. All the facilities of home, including washing machine. Beautifully decorated. Very quiet. Street parking at the door. A great base for exploring Pinhao and the Douro area.

Our view from bed was straight down the Douro Valley and a stunning sunrise was a perfect start to the day. Breakfast on the covered terrace fueled us for a walk downhill amongst the vineyards. Our host was generous with a glass of his delicious wine and conversation. I would definitely stay here again but next time for more than one night. It was a very sweet place.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Sara thinks of everything. The beds are comfortable, the house is clean, the breakfast is exceptional, the grounds are lovely. Our host is so kind and generous. It could not be better.

Manuel and Daniela were wonderful hosts. The dinner with pairings was great.. Dinner in the manor house was particularly special. Set in a beautiful location and close to the Douro river I would highly recommend
