Our family, including our 6-year-old daughter, recently had a delightful five-day stay at Vilar do Golf in Faro, Portugal. The experience exceeded almost all of our expectations, making for a memorable and relaxing holiday. Arrival Experience: Warmly greeted at the reception, we were immediately struck by the convenience of the on-site shop, offering groceries at prices comparable to those in the city. This was a pleasant surprise and added to the ease of our stay. Accommodation: Finding our apartment was straightforward. It impressed us with its spacious, immaculate layout, featuring an American-style living room with an adjoining kitchen on the first floor, and two cozy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, on the second floor. The inclusion of a bathtub in one bedroom was a thoughtful touch. Weather and Comfort: Visiting in December, we were blessed with sunny days averaging 20°C, while nights dropped to around 9°C. The efficient air conditioning system ensured our apartment remained comfortably warm. Environment: The tranquility of the area was remarkable, contributing to a serene and restful holiday ambiance. The beautifully maintained grounds were a testament to the care and attention given to the resort. Swimming Pools: The pool's temperature of 30°C and the Jacuzzi at 37°C were perfect for relaxation. Although the outdoor pools were open, their cooler temperatures directed us indoors.

A lovely hotel and great location. Friendly staff and food was excellent. Loved all the channels on the tv - like all the sports channels. Lovely pool and free parking which we requested. Lovely comfy beds - gorgeous pillows. Would definitely recommend.

As it was presented, there was very little to like about Villa 42 apart from the location. it could be so nice but the owner needs to address numerous issues.

Ria Formosa Guest House provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 7 miles of Church of São Lourenço and 16 miles of Vilamoura Marina.

Sara, who let us into the apartment, was welcoming, informative and punctual. The accommodations were stocked with everything you could possibly need. The floor plan was perfect for the size of the apartment. It was walking distance to all attractions, restaurants, markets, and tours. We would definitely stay here again.
