Wonderful ultra quiet retreat. Spectacular views and the whole group of buildings and grounds has been meticulously rebuilt. Eric is a wonderful host. It was the perfect place to recharge for a few days while working on a project nearby. I am pretty sure I will be staying here quite a bit during this project over the next year or so. Can't wait to go back for the next visit. Highly recommended!

Very nice and new place, clean, well equipped, good beds, very kind hostess, always helpful. They also offer a nice selection of wines, we bought 1 bottle, excellent wine!

Warm reception, fresh grapes to pick from the vines. A short drive to Lousa and other small cities. Very quiet place, with stunning stars and night skies. Very blissful breakfast and peaceful atmosphere.

We didn't expect the hotel to be part of a village, so when we arrived late in the evening it was an odd sight, but when we woke up the next morning it was a very welcoming atmosphere. So the location is breathtaking, adding the facilities, a picturesque house and a tasteful breakfast made it complete for us as a family, hence a perfect score in this review. To the staff and owners; Thanks for your hospitality and keep up the good work!
