Out of season place on Coimbra trip which allowed for parking. Basically closed but owners went out of their way to make me feel welcome and upgraded my room. Also by fluke had stumbled into pastry heaven. Check out the pastries of Tentugal. Interesting old town, obviously a place of note back in the day

It was very luxurious. Staff were all so friendly and so helpful and accommodating. We had a beautiful room , bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and the breakfast was delicious
