Very friendly host, very good breakfast, excellent dinner at reasonable price, a very nice property with just seven rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and extensive grounds with sheep grazing -- very bucolic but also close to the city of Chaves.

The hotel is in a stunning location, close to the lake with landscaped grounds. The bungalow was clean, with a fully equipped kitchen where you could find everything you needed. There is a huge barbecue area in the grounds and bar, where you can play pool. There is also a restaurant next to the hotel.

We loved everything about Casa Da Eira Longa. Our hostess made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived and her warm hospitality continued throughout our stay. She went far beyond what was necessary, providing extra fruit, pastries and juices so we could picnic while out hiking. She gave us great advice on places to visit and restaurants in the area. We shared warm conversations. The grounds and rooms are great examples of traditional Portuguese fine craftsmanship, full of rich wood and stone and decorated with lovely plants and flowers.
