I guess you're really paying for the location (right next to the beach) and everything on Reunion is fairly expensive but the price seemed a bit high to me. I did ask for a quiet room when booking and maybe they gave me a "quiet" room but it overlooked the parking area so it wasn't really quiet. There was also quite a bit of hallway noise: people/kids running up and down and yelling. Oddly much noisier than my apartment building at home in NYC (which does have a lot of families but no one runs through the halls screaming). Things were clean but the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable. The WiFi worked well though, as did the old wall AC unit. The staff was very nice. All in all, an okay stay.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Saint-Leu, Le Cardinal des Grands Bleus is a vacation home surrounded by views of the pool.
