We have spent a few wonderful days in Slănic Prahova two weeks ago. Pensiunea Deceneu offers beautifully designed accommodations, with nice clean rooms, and a very pleasant fenced-in yard. The food was very tasty, prepared on site from fresh locally sourced ingredients, and we were impressed by the owners, who were very friendly and helpful with every request we had. The location is very close to everything we wanted to visit in Slanic. The closed-in private yard is perfect having an outdoor picnic, or just relaxing. Safe parking is also available.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was spacious and clean, and the large salt lamp created a relaxing atmosphere—perfect before visiting the nearby Slănic Salt Mine. The terrace was big and offered a wonderful view, ideal for unwinding. There’s also a pool on-site, which is a nice bonus. The restaurant doesn’t have a huge variety of options, but the food was tasty, and the staff was very kind. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations—big, fresh, and delicious. Parking is available in the inner yard, and the location is excellent for anyone planning a trip to the salt mine. A great choice if you want comfort, views, and easy access to Slănic!

The house is in small village, located in the high point with very nice view. We loved the silence, to sit on the terrace in the evening. We came late about 22:00pm and was a little dark, no sign on the main road, where to stop and park.
