Since the cabin is high in the mountains, a 4-wheel drive car is necessary. It takes 2 hrs 15 minutes to 2 hrs 30 minutes to Cluj-Napoca. The facilities were exceptionally clean, the room we stayed in had a nice view, the bed was comfortable and even without air condition the temperature was optimal due to the cross ventilation possibility. The common kitchen was well equipped and clean as well. The staff were incredibly friendly and they treated animals with kindness, which was a huge plus! We highly recommend this facility.

The accommodations were top-notch, matched by the hospitality of the hosts. Huge kitchen and common area, rooms are well equipped (even too much in fact, maybe one too many porcelain figurines :-) ). In general it is spacious and easy to rest. The accommodations are in an area where people actually live, so it is a bit of an immersion experience as well. The host provided us with fresh milk (super tasty), cheeses, assorted pastries, etc.
