The place is a hidden gem, everything about it was amazing. The place was recently renovated, so everything in the rooms is new and was barely used. While the location looks right on the road between Ljubljana and Zagreb, it's actually a bit elevated, so passing traffic doesn't bother you at all - instead adds some charm when having some drinks at the bar. The restaurant was also very good and we enjoyed the food and drinks there. There were more then enough of entertainment for our kid as well, so he wasn't bored at all (which is extremely hard to do, hehe). Staff was extremely helpful and saved us with extremely useful advices and was very nice and polite overall. Beds despite being soft, were really comfy, so I slept like a baby there. So I can only recommend the place and will totally stop by when will be in the area.

Everything was spotless! The beds were great, the bathroom was spacious, and the hosts were very nice. Like seeing old friends! The restaurant is beautiful! I would stay here every time I come to Slovenia. Novo Mesto is a great little city, don't miss it!
