Hotels That Guests Love in Bangkok

The Ritz Aree

“We stayed in 1 Family Room (5 adults + 1 toddler) & 1 Deluxe Twin Room (2 adults + 1 Child +1 Baby). Very nice & clean boutique hotel. No shoes in hotel makes it feel like home. Breakfast every morning, eggs to order and free flow of bread/cereal. Free flow of coffee/tea & snacks all day in the common pantry. Staff are very nice & helpful during check in & check out with luggage.”

Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok

“Generous breakfast with lots of choices. We were in tower 1, dated but huge rooms, helps if you are travelling with young children. Cafe at lobby level was excellent for food & drinks. Excellent customer service, very helpful & professional.Quiet environment and not typical hectic Bangkok city center. Overall a very nice hotel if you have young kids as they have a lovely small playground on level 4. They also have kids activities everyday for 1 hour which is between 1 to 2pm, we never used it but could be handy.”

Trang Hotel Bangkok

“i think for the price this place is absolutely excellent. Sure - you wouldnt come here for a quiet romantic break - however i was with my family including two kids under ten. They loved the pool / the breakfast was great / and the local area was charming (and authentic) and not too far to walk to the more touristy areas around the river / kao san. Staff helpful too. Rooms clean and functional. Bit frayed round the ages but no complaints. Recommended!”

Ibis Bangkok Riverside

“The room was spacious for a family of five. I liked the extra touch of the teddy bears for the youngest ones. The pool was a big hit with all of us and the adults could relax over a cocktail, watching the boats go by on the river while the kids played in the pool. I also had a half hour foot massage - I felt the masseuse went over & beyond to ensure I had the best massage! Overall it was a wonderful experience!”

Grand 5 Hotel & Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok

“the location was proned to traffic congestion. And not family friendly especially you have a stroller. Once the driver missed the turn, you will not be able to go back to the hotel as it is a one way street. You have to pay for PLAIN water in the room! it is not complimentary! the rooms are old and the characteristic of people around there is not the conducive for kids and it is actually quite dangerous. We were booked for 3 nights and cancelled the hotel after 1 night. Awaiting refund.”

Shanti Lodge

“We had a lovely stay in this welcoming lodge. Very nice atmosphere and very family friendly. Restaurant area is a great place to sit for a drink or to have some food. There is even a small area with some toys for kids to play with. Travellers without children mixed in fine. The river is an easy stroll away and from there you can take the boat into town that will bring you to all the major places. There are plenty of buses as well.”
