Our stay at Z-Breez Zanzibar was nothing short of incredible, all thanks to Anna and her wonderful team. We had a rough start to our trip with a delayed flight from Zambia, which caused us to miss our connecting flight to Zanzibar. We ended up spending a night in a dingy hotel in town with two toddlers and a teenager—a complete nightmare. We arrived in Dar es salaam around 8:30 pm, and only got dropped off at the hotel at 11:30 pm, and had to be picked up at 3 am to catch our 7 am flight. It was exhausting. But the moment we arrived at Z-Breez, it felt like every stressful moment had been washed away. The team welcomed us with so much empathy and understanding of our ordeal. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, offering my husband, myself, and our daughter complimentary massages and a reef tour. The reef tour is an absolute must-do! Our captain was fantastic, keeping us entertained all the way, and we snorkeled to our heart’s content. We were even treated to fresh fruit and water on the way back. The lodge itself is a perfect 10 out of 10. It was spotless, well-located, secure, and the staff were exceptional. My 3-year-old son even became best friends with Juliet, one of the waitresses, which made our stay feel even more special and homely. And the food? Absolutely exceptional! Z-Breez Zanzibar is now our go-to place, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

Poa Poa is a truly magical place! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable and relaxed. Our stay was wonderful, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar. The staff's warmth and hospitality were exceptional. They went above and beyond to assist us with some travel issues (unrelated to the hotel), and we are incredibly grateful for their help. The food was also a highlight – every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience, and a special shout-out to Wiktoria and the other gentleman (whose name I unfortunately don't recall) for their outstanding service and dedication.

Can honestly say this is the best place we've ever stayed and we've stayed in some amazing hotels across the world! The staff are so friendly and helpful. You are on the beach yet also feel very private. The food is incredible and cocktails are amazing! Rooms are massive and have great showers. It's more quiet on this beach compared to nungwi which we liked and you still have access to all the activities nungwi offers.

Marafiki Bungalows is located on the beach in Kiwengwa,overlooking the ocean.Zanzibar International Airport is a 1 hour drive away.

the stuff was very very friendly. Everyone smiles and says hello. I felt like a family with them. The food is delicious: lots of seafood, vegan options and meat as well. I enjoyed a scheduled yoga class with ocean view with Silvia. The bungalow was lovely - with the ocean view - couldn't imagine better. I loved the cosmetics in the room - it was a good quality local product with wonderful smell of coconut + lime. Thank you Peter, Susan, Michael, Ester and the rest of the stuff, you made my holiday fantastic.

It was worth travelling all the way from the USA just totaste Tina's deserts. The drivers provided for the excursions were very friendly and provided a lot of information about the society they lived in. The staff were very friendly, and may I say, beautiful. The beach location was very convenient

The property is awesome. It has a great management. Mr Simai is the greatest person you can meet, very helpful, caring and responsive. Whenever I needed something he helped me. I had few special request and I’m very thankful to him for helping me out. View on the ocean 🌊 - this is really exiting. You can see and hear the ocean every day and every minute. Breakfast is really tasty, and the coffee is one of the best I ever drank. Come and see for yourself.
