The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

The beachfront location was perfect for a great relaxing stay. We totally enjoyed the services from Ms Nicey and the homely meals by Ms Shukran. We especially loved the fresh juice and fruits for breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised with a new breakfast dish each morning. The location at the beachfront was a hit for us and access to numerous hotels along the beach. Affordable delicious meals for a family of 4.
