Things to Do in Anaheim

Disney California Adventure
A different line-up of attractions from those of Disneyland, including some family-friendly rides as well as an emphasis on adult-oriented thrill rides.
Adventure City
Forward, backward, sideways… Adventure City’s variety of rides covers all angles and ages. First timers as young as three can hop on the Freeway Coaster that wraps itself around a giant pepper tree, while older kids can take the next step on the even loopier Rewind Racers. Then there’s Drop Zone – a 45-foot freefall ride that will give anyone butterflies in their stomach.
California Screamin’
The name says it all. This over one-mile-long steel rollercoaster is an adrenaline rush from start to finish. Unlike traditional slow-start rides, this coaster uses an electric booster to launch you right into the action, reaching 65 miles per hour in just four seconds. There’s no need to be shy about your fears, though – special “scream tubes” keep your yelling to a minimum!
Disneyland Park
When you wish upon a star...wish for a day out at Disneyland! Opened in 1955, this legendary theme park was designed by Walt Disney himself. Today, its eight themed lands include 58 attractions based on characters old and new – from Winnie the Pooh to Buzz Lightyear. Take your pick from merry-go-rounds, roller coasters, and water rides to have yourself a rip-roaring time.
Flightdeck Flight Simulation Center
Are you made of the right stuff? This state-of-the-art flight center lets you find out. Mixing classroom training with ultra-realistic simulators, Flightdeck is as close as you’ll get to those “Top Gun” dreams. So suit up, get briefed on your mission, and hop inside the replica F-16 cockpit to test your skills as a jet-fighter pilot.
Grizzly River Run
Prepare to get soaked – if you can’t make it to the real Yellowstone or Redwood, this water ride recreates the excitement of white water rafting in a classic California state park. You’ll bob along the rushing rapids of the Grizzly River, spinning and splashing your way to the bottom as the sounds of bears and coyotes echo around the mountainside.
Cars Land
Vroom vroom! This sprawling, automotive-themed desert landscape brings to life the world of “Cars,” Disney Pixar’s popular film. Motorheads of all ages can let off some steam through the dozens of attractions – from spinning tire rides and junkyard bumper cars, to fast racing-car simulators. Plus there are lots of car-themed restaurants if you're looking for a family dinner pitstop.
Disney California Adventure Park
With 15-million visitors a year, the original Disneyland was so popular they had to build another theme park next door. This one recreates California’s past – from the Victorian-style architecture of Paradise Pier to 1930's Hollywood. You can relive those days through live 3D shows, thrilling fairground rides, and Buena Vista Street’s colorful cast of characters.
Booking.com asked travelers...

How does Anaheim go the extra mile to make your family feel at home?

I've been to a lot of theme parks around the country and Disneyland always has the best service. I've been there dozens of times and never had a bad time.
Seems like a clean , safe city . Many people (families)walking about even late at night . Main streets are well lit and public transportation runs late .
Well I'm pretty much a Solo traveler so can't say much, but they do offer stuff for family to enjoy and hotels even offer family suites. So they are a pretty good area.
They really have the attention how my family was feeling...happy, comfortable, etc
Staff at hotel, market, restaurants, are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Anaheim has all you need to allow the traveller a fun place to go out from
Staff fabulous managing crowds and helpful advice - exemplary
Lots of things to do, needs more dining options
It was very clean. People were friendly
Serve eggs for breakfast.
