Kaia homestead is beautiful! Carlos who runs and owns the property is incredible! Such a sweet human who was happy to help with any of our needs. If you’re here to dive definitely ask Carlos AHEAD of time, so that he can help you pick a good shop. There are some sketchy dive shops in Sodwana that are not adhering to safety standards for diving (ex: sodwana bay lodge scuba center). Carlos also has 5 of the sweetest dogs that you might see around! They’re lovely 💛

This is a very well established lodge and everything worked well for us - is well maintained and owners are clearly committed to keeping it going at a high standard. Very friendly staff. It is quite 'down to earth' and does not try to impress with the more gimmicky approaches some places go for. We enjoyed watching the buck and the families of monkeys playing in the grass areas.
