One of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed in the entire world. We loved the property and all of the amenities were incredible! The list goes on and on, it was my wife’s favorite hotel that she’s ever stayed in and that says a lot because we travel more than 50% of the year.

This 3-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and a tour desk. The hotel was great, and the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and the pool was a plus too. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very good. Everyone worked to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and they were able to provide answers to all our questions about everything we wanted to do around San Ignacio. The only thing to note is that the hotel is a little outside of the town so you might need a car to get into the town, it’s about a 5-10 minute drive so not bad at all. Most tours will also pick you up from the hotel if needed.

Our bungalow at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge was gorgeous! Beautiful, modern design, luxurious bedding, spacious bathroom with rain shower, stocked bar fridge & snacks, and incredible rainforest views from our private deck. The new pool was very refreshing, and home-cooked breakfast served at their outdoor kitchen before our daily adventures was amazing! Our stay highly exceeded our expectations for the price - it was glorious for our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We used Xplore Inland Tours for three adventures near San Ignacio / Santa Elena: (1) Guided Moutain Pine Ridge Tour (including a visit to Rio Frio Cave, then a traditional Belizian picnic lunch, and a stop to swim in pools and waterfalls at Rio On Pools); (2) Guided Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che'en; and (3) Horseback Riding under the rainforest canopy along a beautiful river. This is a smaller, family-run tour operator that gave us private tours for a better price that huge tour operators with giant groups. Best of both worlds - our guides were amazing and we got such personalized service! They even picked us up and dropped us off at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge each day, instead of us having to find our own way into San Ignacio. Perfect! 10/10

À la carte and continental breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and fresh pastries are available. At the villa, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves American cuisine. Everything. Melanie, Larry and the team treated us more like family than guests. They organised all our trips and activities, at no extra cost, even after we changed our plans. The location was perfect, like an oasis in the jungle, the pool was fantastic and the room was very tastefully decorated with everything we could need.

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home features garden views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.

Since we are a family of 4 we booked a room with two double beds. The room was quite small and there was only room for two people to sit on the porch. Since renovation was being done to the room next to us and my husband complained about the noise we were upgraded to the garden cottage. I wasn’t too excited about the room but the garden cottage was fantastic for us as a family. The grounds of the resort are stunning and having the choice of swimming in the pool or tubing on the river was luxury. We loved the wildlife around the lodge.
We had to leave early due to family problems at home, the hotel was excellent value and I would happily book to stay there again
Really nice family, helped me to book for my activity, to find a place to fix my phone. I had a wonderful conversation with them.
The Tut family were amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. They scheduled amazing tours for our family that my teenagers really loved, especially the ATM cave tour. The rooms were great, the food was delicious, and we felt very at ease. Would definitely stay there again.
Amazing place right by the river where you can swim. A hidden gem! You can have breakfast & dinner at their cosy restaurant where they serve meal. Family friendly! They have wild birds & monkeys and other rain forest critters that you can observe with the kids! We loved it and we will be back. Some simple stores and a bakery are 7min walk from the place. Awesome location for all the local tours! The staff there were like family! Cozy place! A must stay! My 6yrs old and a 10 year old loved it!
The staff was great and the food on site delicious! My husband also loved the food so much he mentions it every now and then. Very family friendly.
Food was fabulous! We felt welcomed and as if we were staying with a family. Owner let me pay through a website, rather than PayPal. Loved the grounds, the creek and the area.
- Fantastic quiet location with wonderful views - Walking distance from Xunaantunich, our favorite Maya site in Belize (el Castillo!) - Good breakfast and dinner, basic but inexpensive - Dominic the philosopher is funny, intelligent and very honest (we did not have the luck to meet his wife) Very recommended, value for money!
The property is very nice. The room is very cute and functional. The meal were fantastic
