Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool and a hot tub, Schoolhouse Inn is located in Killaloe Station, 6.5 km from Bonnechere Provincial Park and 48 km from bonnechere caves. I liked there was a great little Cafe that you could eat Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner depending on what you needed being out and about enjoying other activities in the area. You Just had to give the owners a heads up on what meal is needed.The Bed was comfortable and the In wall electric Fireplace was an added touch .

Overlooking Oxtongue Lake, this cottage resort is 10 km from Algonquin Park. It offers on-site access to a sandy beach and a fully equipped kitchen in each cosy cottage. The cottages are adorable. I was in a one bedroom. It has a fully functioning kitchen (bring all your groceries including butter, oil. And coffee grounds/pods. And a flat pan. Surprisingly no pan in the kitchen). It had really good heating. No AC but we didn't need it. No bugs inside. The veiw from the windows was a slice of heaven. BRILLIANT for kids. Two playgrounds, a library with toys, a lake opposite. Next to Algonquin so loads of fun trekking. We went when it was cold but they have paddle boats, and canoes and life vests. Honestly I am blown away by how entertained my 2 year old was in this resort.

Set in Algonquin Highlands in the Ontario region, Sawyer's Creek Bed and Breakfast has a patio. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Beautiful property. Well maintained, beautiful gardens and plants! Dog and cats super friendly. Hosts amazing and welcoming. Bed was extremely comfortable Room was spacious and clean. Sharing bathroom was not an issue.

Suite in the Bush-Private Apartment is set in Bancroft and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. This place is very nice. The location is very quiet, you can hardly hear anything except for a bit of traffic that runs by. We had a lot of breakfast options to choose from. We chose to have it delivered to our room. It was delicious and a lot of food. Aileen is very nice and accommodating. There was snacks she put out, water bottles, coffee, tea, towels. You can have a fire at night, but we didn't take advantage of it. Wonderful stay.

Situated in Golden Lake, 24 km from Bonnechere Provincial Park, Sands on Golden Lake features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a private beach area. The view is awesome and the room is very spacious!

Four Seasons Algonquin Cabins provides accommodation with a kitchenette, situated in Madawaska. Some units are air conditioned and include a seating and/or dining area. Great little cabin with all the amenities you need, internet, 2 separate rooms, shower etc. Close to Algonquin park, small shops nearby for essentials. Would be perfect for ATVing
