The lodges are just steps away from a gorgeous beach which you will have to yourself. Nuqui is already a dream but our stay at Popochos made it unforgettable. As an extra bonus, the hostel dog Rocky is always there to accompany you on some adventures if you wish!

With a restaurant, the property also has a bar. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. We did a tour to Utria National park. My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

The accommodation provides a housekeeping service, private check-in and check-out and organising tours for guests. an incredible place to enjoy everything around and relax.

With free WiFi, this 4-star guest house offers full-day security and luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms. The host went out to buy more food as the vegan breakfast wasn’t suitable for me, very accommodating and friendly.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I really loved my stay at the Humpback as I have stayed there for 3 weeks ! The atmosphere is super chill and it’s an awesome place to relax, especially in the hostel’s hamacs or directly on the beach as it’s the only hostel that’s actually located on the beach. It’s also a great place to meet other backpackers as well as the locals who always hang out there. Overall I 100% recommend the Humpback !

The staff is amazing (special thanks to Juan, he was extremely helpful and so so nice) the hostel is located in the beach and the jungle (in el valle those two things are the same thing) so cleanses and comfort is exceptional for the location meaning: align your expectations and enjoy being in the heart of nature.
