I really appreciated my stay in Starlight Inn. The place is very quiet, located on the top of a mountain with great views of the Andes; not to mention the company of Rocky (the hostel's llama). Victor Negret, the manager and owner, was so helpful and nice, prepared me delicious and well-served breakfast and dinner with so much care and love. I ended up extending my stay because it was very pleasant. A great plus of Starlight Inn is that you have coffee\tea available at all times and also bikes included in the price. It's just so much value for the money. Thank you for your hospitality, Victor, I'll definitely recommend your place to anyone I know and hope to come back soon.

A kids' club is also available at Hostal Doña Clarita Inn, while guests can also relax in the garden. A nice and friendly family running this hostal with a lot of love. Our room was amazing, the bath and shower top! The WiFi was good enough and the food was excellent. Free banana bread, tea, coffee and water made it just perfect. Go here and not in the overhyped cloud forest.

He made a great breakfast and 3 course dinner, was very friendly and went above and beyond with advice for different treks as he used to be a guide. Also, he would help with anything you need. We were a bit cold at night so he gave us a heater and a large blanket. The location is really close to the main highway so it's easy to get to and to go on day trips but you're far away enough in nature that you don't realize it. They have a nice kitchen and a nice common area with a fireplace. There wearnt many people so it's quieter, which for me was nice to have a small group vibe.
