Waya Lailai Eco Haven 3 stars

Wayasewa Island

Waya Lailai Eco Haven has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Wayasewa Island. The accommodation offers entertainment staff and a concierge service.

Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Wayasewa Island, like snorkelling. Amazing staff, genuinely friendly and welcoming. Other guests were also friendly. The hike and reef snorkeling were nice activities. The funeral for the village chief occurred during my stay and they were nice enough to invite guests along to attend it, which was a unique cultural experience and window into local customs.

Oarsman's Bay Lodge 3 stars

Nacula Island

Oarsmans Bay Lodge offers accommodation in Nacula Island. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar.

All rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day and all feature views of the sea. The rooms have a private bathroom. Oarsman’s Bay Lodge absolutely exceeded our expectations - we spent a fantastic week in this remote paradise on Nacula island! I’ve loved everything about it: the remote & quiet island feel it evokes & its location (set in its own bay and stunning coral reef, with only one neighbouring resort), the lovely staff and their amazing hospitality, the great bures (bungalows) by the sea, their lovely decor and the attention to detail throughout the little resort (in the common & dining area), and most of all, that it feels like a small private community/ homestay, interacting with the (mostly younger) guest in the greatly organised (free or paid) activities like reef snorkelling or the trip to the nearby caves - we’ve certainly made new friends :) Plus, I loved that you can snorkel the house reef at high tide (and borrow equipment free of charge), at your own pace, or SUPs and canoes - all greatly recommended activities!! The meals (quality and chefs‘ creativity) were unmatched. There’s a good breakfast selection (Western style and local - best are the fresh tropical fruits & vegetables!), great lunch, and selection between a fish or chicken dish for dinner - especially the freshly caught red snapper and local yam were amazing. Oh and afternoon tea (and daily changing, fresh cakes) are yummy and not to miss after a snorkel or swim! I also truly like that Oarsman’s is unpretentious and unfussy, and in a non-luxurious way providing you with everything and more than you need (picture-perfect settings such as white sand, palm trees, amazing sea and reef, lovely fresh flowers everywhere, great food, and wifi limited to the lobby to truly be off the grid), making for a relaxed, and thanks to the small size, family-like atmosphere that truly helped to unwind and forget about the world for a week! The entire Oarsman’s team made this one of - if not the - best vacations of my life, and deserves a big vinaka vakalevu for a truly memorable stay! <3

Coconut Beach Resort 3.5 stars

Tavewa

Set within a tropical garden of coconut palms and surrounded by turquoise water, Coconut beach Resort directly overlooks the world famous Blue Lagoon in the Yasawa Islands. The resort has a beachfront bar and a dining room. Eventing from start to finish. The communication before our arrival was smooth and the staff were able to provide enormous help to organise our transfers to and from the resort. Then our stay was exceptional from every point of view! The location is absolutely amazing, with an amazing reef just a quick swim away. Facilities from the bures to the common areas are spot on clean and well maintained. Food is great too! But the most amazing thing that will make your trip worth your while is the extraordinary hospitality of the entire staff! 100% recommended

Bay of Plenty Nature Lodge

Nanuya Lailai

Bay of Plenty Nature Lodge is situated in Nanuya Lailai.

Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with sea or garden views.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving local cuisine. A vegetarian option can also be requested. Rosa’s cooking was amazing - she was able to accommodate my dietary requests of dairy and gluten free and made separate meals for me. Both her and husband Jerry were great hosts who made our stay very homey and cozy. My cellular Internet worked great here as well. They also organized the cave excursion which was super fun. The bungalows were also quite spacious and had a great view of the beach and water underneath it. We also participated in the family’s kava ceremony which they organized for the guests to join in
