Situated in Lamothe-Landerron, 17 km from Marmande and 11km from La Réole, Haras de la Tour B&B boasts views of the garden. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. We arrived and were offered a glass of rosé wine and a tour of the marvellous hens and quails kept for their eggs and who lived in beautifully made pens. We'd booked dinner and were not disappointed with the delicious slow cooked duck and a vegetable quiche for the vegetarian among us, followed by sticky ginger pudding with cream - exceptional. Breakfast was just a good with a lot of choice which included lovely brown shelled eggs and home made bread, cheese and fruit. The rooms were charming with large shuttered windows (we had the Tower room), comfortable beds and spotlessly clean, well-quipped bathrooms.

Owned and operated by a British couple, Manoir du Bois Mignon was built in 1791 and is located in a hamlet nestled next to the Dordogne River approximately 20 minutes' drive from Bergerac Airport. Gorgeous house with everything you will need to be comfortable. Excellent breakfast and fabulous dinner recommendations in the area.

This B&B is a 17th-century countryside chateau, located in Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac, 45 km from Bordeaux. Beautifully decorated Chateau. The Manager was so extremely kind and helpful. She made the stay even better. The rooms are large. Modernized but with that traditional Chateau vibe. Breakfast was amazing
