The property is non-smoking and is situated 28 km from Museum Nan Eilean. EVERYTHING! Greeted by Capt. Murdo, we were immediately made to feel at home. Everything we thought we needed was already here. And the location couldn’t be beat. We looked out the front window and saw Doune Broch just steps from our door. We didn’t climb it once we climbed it twice because it was just so breathtaking. The black houses, alpacas, the standing stones, everything was just around the corner. It was brilliant. I have to say it’s the only vacation stay I’ve ever had where I was truly sad to leave. Being from America , this is the other side of the world and it’s a side I wish I could stay on. Thank you to Captain Murdo and for anyone considering staying on the Island of Lewis, if you’re lucky enough to find this available, grab it you’ll never be happier with any place you’ve ever stayed. Plus, there is a great gift shop a block down where Angus has some great gifts from the area at super prices.

We had a fantastic stay at the SEApod. The pod was very clean and comfortable with small thoughtful details like breakfast items for dietary requirements, treats, etc which we really appreciated. Our host Grant was very accommodating and provided great tips for the area. The pod is in a unique cliffside location with lots to explore around.

Located in Lionel, Nᴼ 21 Beautiful Cosy Modern Traditional Cottage features recently renovated accommodation 42 km from Museum Nan Eilean. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. This cottage is exceptional. It had everything we needed and more. The outside space was a bonus too. Everything was high end quality. It was so cosy and so comfortable. Thank you.

Set right next to the Black Houses, close to the beach, at the start of the cliff walking path. The community shop is easily reached by car... The house is wonderful, cozy, spacious, calming, peaceful and perfect for a group of 4-6 travelers. The photographs in the house are very special bringing the outside to the inside and the pictures of the past connect right with modern comfortable times. The kitchen has everything you need, the stove is fabulous. From the windows you can see amazing sunsets and cute sheep. Highly recommended!

We also easily took in a day trip via the ferry to North Uist. Donna had provided a lovely and helpful range of fridge provisions prior to arrival and responded quickly and professionally to any of our queries during our stay.

The cottage was super comfy and homy, with plenty of space for a group/family, and we found sweet details in every corner - there are even enough board games to entertain in the evening. Also, lots of storage.
