Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 45 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village and 46 km of Takayama Station. Clean and well thought out experience. Onsen is beautiful and comfortable. Rooms are large and luxurious. Breakfast are fancy af.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Takayama, HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. We had a pleasant family stay. We enjoyed free drinks in the afternoon and Japanese baths (although it is a small bath area and only has an interior pool).

Ideally located in the centre of Takayama, Relax Hotel Takayama Station offers buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Friendly staff, very convenient location, right across from the train station and bus station.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. It was very nicely decorated and spacious also the staff was very nice.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Price quality is excellent. Japanese breakfast in the morning is nice, with various dishes prepared. The room itself was large and spacious. There is ample place to park your car, but train station is also in walking distance.

We are very happy to stay at a really Japanese hotel, and experience Japanese culture. All the staff there are so helpful and wonderful. Everyone can communicate with the guests very well. Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. The hotel is super fantastic and worth to stay. The hotel staff are very polite and can speak good english. The facilities are super, out of my expectations. Room are big and clean. Love the private outdoor onsen so much, the public onsen is very good too. Luckily we stay for 2 nights to enjoy the stay.
