There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. When staying at the farm stay, guests can use private entrance. Warm & Heartfelt Travel Story My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 15 unforgettable nights at Ezura Farm, from July 28 to August 12. We had originally packed plenty of ingredients from Korea, fully intending to cook for ourselves. But from the very first meal Yoko served, we were completely captivated by her cooking — so much so that we ended up enjoying almost every breakfast and dinner at her restaurant. Normally, I grow tired of the same hotel breakfast after just a couple of days, but here, even after two weeks of breakfasts and dinners, every meal felt fresh and exciting. The dinners were beautifully presented as multi-course meals, and I savored every bite — not a single morsel left behind. While everything was delicious, the venison hamburg steak remains etched in my memory as the standout dish. Yoko and Akito are the kind of hosts who make you feel instantly at home. They are unfailingly kind, never once turning down a guest’s request, and their warmth shines through in everything they do. One evening, I noticed Akito quietly washing dishes on his own while Yoko chatted cheerfully with her staff — the kind of small, sincere moment that shows their dedication. Yoko speaks with her team as if they are lifelong friends, and that sense of closeness extends naturally to her guests. Although we speak no Japanese, communicating in English with Yoko and Akito was effortless. Our two-story accommodation had three cozy bedrooms, a traditional tatami room, and a spacious living room. Each morning, we would open the curtains to a tranquil view of endless cornfields swaying gently in the breeze — a picture of pure peace. The Shirataki area, where Ezura Farm is located, is wonderfully quiet, with so little traffic that even those unaccustomed to driving on the left side will have no trouble at all.

Guests also enjoy access to the indoor pool and fitness centre, as well as the sauna and hot tub. The property is very modern and relatively new. However, I was impressed by the level of thought that went into every facet of our stay, from the room's views to the design touches, furnishings, and standard amenities. The food in general was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was especially exceptional. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Continental/American style items, but the quality of the local Hokkaido produce and ingredients put it over the top. We ate at two restaurants, an Italian and Japanese grill, as well as the Lobby dining area. All three were fantastic. Their pool and Onsen were modern, spotless, and had plenty of towels (a pet peeve). The service was remarkable as well. Any issues we encountered were dealt with immediately and without any pushback.

Offered baby crib for us traveling with a toddler. Onsite restaurant had Japanese and Chinese options as well as breakfast buffet. The onsite parking was very affordable and convenient. Just a short walk away is a convenience store and a drug store (which is like a supermarket).
Property is clean, new and functional. I particularly liked the small pantry area with small sink and kitchen essentials which is very useful for family with small children.
Fun, clean and comfortable hotel. We had the room with two double bunks, so 4 double beds, which was a novelty for our family of 4, the kids thought it was terrific. Very clean, spacious by Japanese standards. Very friendly staff, eager to help with lots of recommendations. Excellent for an overnighter on our way to the airport from Niseko but being self-contained, would be great for a longer stay too.
Big size room and very kids and family friendly
Friendly owner and lovely apartment with lots of space! Kid-friendly with a hammock and tent and a sled for snow fun! Washing machine and dryer plus a small bathtub in the bathroom. And delicious assortment of bagels offered for breakfast!! (Lovely toasted with a cup of tea or coffee - we loved trying so many different flavors and they were delicious!) we really enjoyed our stay!
Very cozy with good food. Very child friendly & allows kids into the Onsen too!
View of Mt. Tokachi from our Japanese styled room. Family friendly Ryokan. The tradition styled wooden onsen with the open aired option had a great view of the mountains! They provided Yukata and slippers in child sizes which was great! Felt nostalgic, as some of the furniture like the safe was from the 80s-90s.
Very extensive buffet spread at both dinner and breakfast (almost too extensive. I didn't know where to start!). Busy ryokan with lots of guests. It was baby/child-friendly with high chairs, baby-sized yukatas and child-sized yukatas. Close to all the attractions in the area. Range of drinks and shampoo spread at the onsen to choose from.
Host and family were very understanding and helpful. Highly recommend if you have young children as it’s a kid friendly place to stay. Clean and comfortable room with many facilities available to guests. The communication was great too as the host speaks really good English. We stayed twice at Crane and it felt like home when we checked in during the 2nd booking.
