At the homestay, every unit is fitted with a desk. At the homestay, every unit includes air conditioning and a private bathroom. Very conveniently located. Basic but very clean and comfortable. The host was lovely and the food was delicious.

Then, he goes: "do you want me to show you around?" >> he went on giving me a guided kuching tour in his car. He even wanted to buy me a drink but no shops were open at midnight. Besides this, he would leave traditional sweets for breakfast every day. Legend!!

It is 2.4 km to Mulu National Park. The nearest airport is Mulu Airport, 2.6 km from Mulu Village. Location by the river means no shortage of water. Historically interesting as site of Royal Geographic Mulu expedition and family connections through James. James and Brenda were very helpful and accommodating. Simple but adequate rooms, resident tokay gecko, nearby cafe with best food in Mulu.

The resort boasts a large fitness centre, pool and a sauna. It is 20 minutes from the Mulu Airport by car. Breakfast was designed to serve people from many locations and interests. Staff exceptional in service. I was surprised that the hotel took such care to protect the environment. People could enjoy the sounds, smells of the forest. And it didn’t feel like we interfered too much on the life of the communities.
