Even though it was very cold when we arrived, they took great care of making it comfortable and the food was truly amazing. ❤️

The family that runs the property is very communicative and personable. They share about their experience living in Uros and it really enhances the authenticity of the stay. Very peaceful.

Located 4 blocks from the main square, Taquile Familia Celso offers accommodations in Quinuapata. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. Rooms here are fitted with shared bathroom facilities. Very warm welcome from Juana and Celso. Nice and cosy place to stay and chill. Celso will guide you to the best spots of taquile island from Pachamama temple, inca ruins, best sunset spot, to playa. They are great host with big heart. I truly recommend staying with them. They will tell you everything about island history, tradition, and more! Just remember not taking all your luggage with you ...cause the island is hilly and the hike can be a bit challenging with heavy bags.

Located 5 km off the coast of Puno and built on the Uros floating islands, Uros Qhantany Lodge offers accommodations in the middle of Lake Titicaca. The coast of Puno is a 30-minute sail away. Enchanting and peaceful location. The hosts were attentive, welcoming and very informative. They offered a small tour of the Uros Islands in traditional clothing which was a very nice touch. We also did a short traditional boat tour at sunset and we were shown how traditional fishing is being done. The food that was prepared was good, simple and plentiful.
