The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. The tranquil property was renovated in 2015 and features swimming pools and a Spa & Wellness centre. The hotel is very nice. The pool from the room was heated and a very nice experience. The breakfast was very good, with a big buffet, better than other places on the island. Also the restaurant, has very good food, but a bit pricey.

With a 24-hour reception, Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico features a permanent exhibition about the maritime transportation sector, as well as a laundry service, babysitting and transfers upon request. Ponta Delgada Airport is 2 km away. I like the attention of the staff, specially from the restaurant that were aware that I am vegetarian and made great veggie food

The staff went over and beyond to accomodate our requests and to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The hotel is beautifully decorated and newly renovated. The salt water pool was awesome with comfortable lawn chairs and bathroom/shower facilities. Will certainly return!!

They also helped us washing our clothes easily. They have a solution for everything you may ask for :) Good job!
