An incredible experience made better by the staff , Under Volcanoes View Guest House stole a piece of our hearts. Really a fantastic home away from home on the hill side of the view of volcanoes , The smiles that greeted us on arrival set the tone for our 1night stay friendly , welcoming and attention to details . From the moment we arrived it was our beginning of the everlasting remarkable new culture experiencing through the culture based tour we made after reaching , Everything was perfect , Our room with an evening fire place was incredibly comfy , The rooms are equipped with African best arts and well decorated by awesome decors , Our meals well fresh - veggies from the backyard garden and beyond delicious! The highlight is the staff from Michael , Oliver , Jean Damour , Ferdinand, Alphonsine , Pascal & the rest of the team who took care of everything! The services here is amongst the very best in entire continent of Africa . Without gorilla visiting it would be hard to find a reason to leave the awesome people like this team , however these once in a lifetime experiences are not to be missed . Coming back to the guesthouse we were greeted with beautiful drinks , amazing meals and clean laundry. If you enjoy relaxed , yet refined , friendly do not think of staying anywhere else, Just be prepared to catch you breath on the way up to nature around this gorgeous place ! I can not say enough good things about Under Volcanoes View , But you deserve big thing

The staff is incredibly friendly! After we checked out, we did a hike to the Bisoke. It was super muddy that day, so I was super dirty when returning from the hike. As I needed to head back to Kigali on the same day, I phoned the hotel and asked if I could take a quick shower, and they accepted immediately!

The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.
