The pension is situated in a peaceful location, it has a nice garden and a charmimg river that runs right through it.

Free WiFi is available. Lovely view of mountains. The apartment was a bit old but had everything we needed. The breakfast was downstairs at the hotel and we had an evening meal included in the price which was lovely too. It was close to everything.

A playroom featuring a terrace and an organised programme for children are available. Amazing location. Food is excellent. Staff are very knowledgable and polite. It is really easy to get to beautiful places from here. The room is well equipped.

Limited WiFi is available for free and a high-speed internet connection is provided for a surcharge. Amazing hotel! Great location. Rooms are cosy, comfortable, and very clean. The spa was exceptional and a welcome end to a days hiking. Great vegan food - especially breakfast.

Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. The ski slopes are 200 metres away. Mostly everything. We knew this hotel from 40 years ago when my grandparents stayed there. It was a fancy hotel back then and although it aged, they managed to revamp it in a way that it is a very good value for money. The wellness section has so much variety we could spend the whole day there. Room is spacious and comfortable. Other facilities like kids club and bowling are great addition for families with kids. Location is fantastic, all the main hiking routes pass by the hotel, we didn't even take the car out most days.
