The accommodation has a hot tub. Location was amazing, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. All the extra options (breakfast game drive, pizza box etc.) are also great. Would 100% recommend this to everyone. Whole proces of very easy, from checkin to checkout. Also QR codes all over the place with instructional videos how to make a fire for the hottub etc. Also can greatly recommend the breakfast game drive. The owner drives you past his interesting family of animals, after which there will be a abundant breakfast waiting for you.

The view from my room was spectacular. The staff were amazing. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world but I have to say that the staff at here were amazing. Housekeeping, the reception staff, waiters at the restaurant, the reservation team! I’m not sure how they managed to recruit the right people for every position. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, breakfast had great choices. The ginger shots were such a great touch.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. It features a pool and a restaurant. Amazing place where you can rest, see animals in their natural habitat and eat great food. From the moment you pass through the gate everything is organised for you. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The game drivers are so knowledgeable and engaging. We should have stayed more than two night’s! Our son , who is 9 years of age happily got up at 6 AM to go on a game drive . We all loved it. One of the most memorable experiences we had as a family!

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. This is an amazing location. Elza and Albert were super nice and have a great eye for details. The breakfast has a wide variety (bigger than restaurants). Thanks for the nice stay! After leaving, we noticed that even our car was cleaned from outside. Best location during our SA roadtrip!
