The Hen House lodge is located within a private rural 10 acre site, located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hastings is 5 km away, while Rye is 17 km from the property. Battle is a 20-minute drive away.

I found the space really well organised and comfortable. There was a TV, stove tops, mini-fridge, microwave, sink, good size bathroom, decent comfortable beds (even the sofa bed was comfy). It just felt like a ‘home from home’ with all the amenities you would need. It was very clean and I loved the sound of the birds and the private woodland we could walk around just a few minutes from the property. It was private too which is nice. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive to messages.

Situated in Robertsbridge and only 36 km from Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park, Adorable Hideaway with log fire and incredible views features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Housed in a building dating from 1983, this farm stay is 37 km from Leeds Castle and 46 km from Glyndebourne Opera House. The property is non-smoking and is located 36 km from Eastbourne Pier.

Charming cabin in peaceful surroundings, within walking distance of Bodiam Castle and local amenities. Host was very friendly and helpful, suggesting local walking routes and good pubs. Good wifi, comfortable bed, hot shower, lovely lounge area. My daughter appreciated the hairdryer and hair straighteners! Kitchenette was well stocked with all necessary cutlery and crockery, washing up supplies etc. There was also a coffee machine (with pods) as well as a very nice bottle of apple juice, milk, and a small fruit bowl - this was a nice touch.

The clue is in the name, this is literally a chalet/shed in the corner of a field so very quiet and secluded. You need to walk through the edge of the field to access, so wellies or walking shoes are advised. Well appointed in a rustic style. Large comfortable bed and fun barrel style shower stall. Great views and interesting 4 legged neighbours. Nice walks in the area and close to some interesting history, a vineyard that does tours and some nice pubs. Would certainly visit again if in the area.

was not expecting to find such a cute room, with a very classic pub decor. It was extremely clean and cozy to stay. After the pub closed it was very quiet and had a good night sleep. I would highly recommend this Inn, it was on the main street of battle and it gave me such rustic english country side vibes!!
