The cottage was one of the best places I've stayed in all my years of travelling. Great for kids as lots of farm animals. Rosie the horse is so friendly. Lovely walk at the back of the cottage! Host were very nice and friendly and took the time to come and say hello. Would def recommend and will def be back if we come to dumfries again.TraceyYoung couple

The kids loved getting up close with the animals and free to run and play in the fields they even got a wee ride on the quad to go check on the lambs and a peak at some new born ducklings. Petted the horses and ted the sheep dog was such a sweetheart. Truly peaceful and with dalscone and mabie farm parks just 30 mins away amongst plenty other things to do close by id highly recomend it and will be returning.
