Room was comfy but I found it noisy (to be fair I live in a very rural location so am unused to road noise and other people). My only real bugbear was a constant background hum all night which kept me awake. I assumed this was an extractor fan left on but a bit of investigation in the morning suggested it was the radiators in the hallway outside my room. Otherwise, a lovely place to stay

The rooms were comfortable and super clean with a lovely view. The staff were so helpful and friendly and would go out their way to help you with any requirements. The 1769 bar was great fun with lovely food and breakfast included was also great value!

Restaurant had great ambience and great food with a really good choice. Location was excellent with scenic views all around. Was a bit worried being so close to the road, but it was completely silent during the night.
