Farm stays in Rasiglia

Very nice hosts. The location was just outside of town nestled among olive groves. The room was clean and comfortable Breakfast was good and we had a wonderful dinner there. The resident cat was very friendly.

The property is very conveniently located and the facilities were excellent. Even being close to Foligno you have the feel of being in the country with beautiful views and peacefulness.

The location in Cammoro is just magical!! It is so beautiful and peaceful ! There are many places to hike that are beautiful. Sellano is a very close town that has the new Tibetan footbridge that joins Sellano - a medieval village to Montesanto. It is 175 meters above the Vigi River Valley. The town of Foligno and Spoletto are also very close by and are also very beautiful places to visit and have great restaurants and shopping.

We liked the Antico Fienile so much. It’s such a bucolic place! The ac is a plus for the summer. In less than 30 minutes drive one can reach many touristy locations. The owners are very friendly and welcoming! The room we stayed in was clean and cozy with a nice outdoor space!

We had the most wonderful stay. The property was beautiful, our room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and comfortable whilst keeping with the rustic charm. It is well located allowing you to explore Umbria. The best part of the stay is the hospitality of our hosts. They generously welcome you to their beautiful home and share the produce at breakfast and dinner. The yogurt was exceptional and the evening meals a delight. Most of all though the stay is fun, lots of laughter and chatter. We highly recommend if you are looking for something a little different and very special.

Oh my gosh! This was my favorite stay on the entire Via di Francesca walk. I LOVED the dogs! All of them!! Such well behaved sweethearts who loved to give and receive affection. Eleanora and her husband are equally lovely human beings. I booked this on my 52nd birthday, and it was by far one of my favorite life experiences ever.

This place was peaceful, relaxing, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Even the cats seemed happy to see us. It was so quiet at night and quite comfortable. The manager was very warm and accommodating and willing to answer our questions. The breakfast in the morning was very good, the facilities were clean, the bed was very comfortable. The view was outstanding. We were there in early May, so it was a bit too chilly for the infinity pool, but it looked very inviting.

A wonderful & gracious host. A refined experience at a charming country house & agriturismo. We chose an air-conditioned room (Room #8), which had a beautiful view. The pillow was firm, so I asked Sandro for a softer one, which he immediately provided. La Maesta's food is superb. Breakfast is plentiful: torta cakes; biscotti; scrambled eggs; cheese and cold cuts; homemade yogurt; homemade honey and jam; and fruit (apple/pear/kiwi). The cappuccino at breakfast was so good that Hubby drank his, then swooped in and drank mine. So the next morning, I requested 3 cappuccinos so Hubby could have 2 and I could still have one. Was it embarrassing to meet the stereotype of Americans who live life consuming an excess of what any person needs on a daily basis? Yes! But the ladies just laughed & brought us three cappuccinos every day after that. Dinner in the restaurant is tasty. We didn't do half board because most nights, we were out & about. A highlight was the excellent private cooking class by the restaurant's Chef Ledy, with the gracious English translation of Susana. They tailored the menu for me (vegetarian) & Hubby (non-vegetarian). We made gnocchi, tagliatelle & maltagliate; & three delicious sauces. Chef Ledy showed us how to make a decadent egg dish, which we'll likely end up showing off to our American friends (just the dish, not Chef Ledy's secrets on how to make it!) What a wonderful & special experience. We greatly treasure our memories at La Maesta. Indeed, Hubby is now on a quest to make what he calls a "La Maesta Cappuccino". He's trying to convince me that we really do need a new coffee roaster, a new grinder, and an expensive cappuccino machine he found online. He says if we get these, he will wake up early every morning to make La Maesta cappuccinos before he goes to work. So literally, this has been a life-changing experience.
