It was a slow time of year to go but that was the best part. Not a lot of people to deal with. Some of the restarants were closed but still plenty to chose from. Tony was always available by phone to answer any questions we had and offered suggestions for dining options, beach locations, etc. Appliances are all new and having a washer/dryer was extremely helpful. I have been here only one day and night, and have now moved to my conference hotel where I will stay another week, so I don’t have a full experience of this area quite yet. I was greeted with a soft evening and an absolutely perfect sunny warm Sunday today! Clear deep blue sky, beautiful Adriatic Sea, and lovely architecture!

This is the kind of place where Italians go on holiday - we saw no other nationalities there during our 10-day stay. Quiet family holiday, good sandy beaches nearby, easy drive to wonderful heritage sites at Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano. Some very decent restaurants, mostly fish and seafood of course. Pharmacy, mini-markets and so on. Parking controls are enforced, as are speed limits so drive responsibly please. All in all exactly as we like our summer holiday with 2 kids under 13.

The apartments were charming and had everything we needed. The bed and breakfast is in the charming little town of Savelletri which is right on the sea. The bed and breakfast is only a few minutes walk from the sea and from the port where there are many restaurants.
