Wonderful place, a great combination of old-world hospitality and modern conveniences. I loved the pool and the chickens (not to worry, there are no chickens in the pool). I was there on my own, but it would be great for couples or families. Excellent home base for discovering that Portugal has more to offer than Lisbon or Porto.

Great guest house, full kitchen is available for guests. We went to a local restaurant for dinner that our host suggested and we really enjoyed it. Our room was very comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was in the dining room and very good. There is a beautiful pool and lounge chairs which we wished we had time to enjoy.
