Nice region. Isolated farm, excellent for partying.
Lovely farm building conversion, beautifully done. Sight of lovely farm animals. Lots of facilities. Warm welcome from host, and a great breakfast. Close to beautiful Poperinge with great restaurants and Delhaize Super market and the famous WESTVLETEREN brewery and bar restaurant. Also about an hour from Calais ferry port. Great location for a short break or overnight stop heading to or from the Uk. Would make a great base for longer stay to explore North West Belgium and World War 1 Cemeteries and Historical sites.
Like the fact that it was a farm. The breakfast was good.
Modern, comfortable and quiet rural location, but very close, 5 mins drive, to Bailleul which has all the amenities you could hope for. Loved the communal kitchen! Fabulous breakfast with many homemade ingredients. A hidden gem!
Wonderful, attentive host who couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful new property in a rural location, yet a short drive away from the town of Bailleul. Extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated room. Fully equipped and spacious kitchen. Glorious hot tub in the garden! Incredibly good value for money.
Really rustic bedrooms. Comfortable. The air conditioning was amazing. Our balcony overlooked a pond and some war memorabilia. Very ideal location. About 6 mins drive from Ypres centre.
It was a wonderful stay at Oversteekhof and we were warmly welcomed. The room was immaculate and had a lovely view of the farm. The breakfast was fantastic and there was a great selection of delicacies.
it is very quiet and rural. The rooms were clean and modern with a plentiful supply of toiletries and welcoming bottle of water. The communal area is comfortable with a well-stocked refrigerator. There is a great deal WW1 history around the farm with an extensive collection of artifacts. David, the owner, is very knowledgeable and willing to give tips and info about the surrounding area. David is very amenable and welcoming. Breakfast is superb. A really great stay.
The communication and welcoming by th host was great. The guesthouse is in a rural natural setting, quite beautiful, pheasants and rabbits around. There are also some animals at the property. The farm house has been impeccably restored and the rooms are huge. The design and decorations are very elegant and there is a nice view from a big balcony. The atmosphere is very nice. The breakfast is a total treat, fresh squeezed orange juice, high quality tea, personal service, beautiful plates, great products and as it was summer, on the terrace.
