We thought of it kind of like "glamping" -- you're going to spend time outside, hear some neighboring animals, and the shower water is brisk. But the family and staff are awesome and the whole place is full of beautiful, artistic touches. Maybe bring earplugs if you're a sensitive sleeper. Breakfast was lovely. The road leading in is bumpy but you are going to be fine in any rental car if you go slowly. Access to Bayahibe is super easy. We're excited to return in the future.

Lime tree farm offers you a great garden and breath-taking views of the mountains. You can come to peace at that place. The cook and the food are amazing! The owner and his wife are lovely people and we liked spending time with them. The hike and coffee tour were very entertaining.
