Engaru
Farm Stay Ezura Farm is set in Engaru and offers free bikes and a garden. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 45 km from Azumamachi Hall. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and private check-in and check-out for guests. Everything, the entire house is family friendly and the level of attention to detail is spectacular- from the look and feel (sheets, design, furniture) to the cleanliness (spotless!) To the functionality - everything you need down to the amount of spoons, paper cups for washing your teeth, TV and AC in every room, panoramic view of the fields, games and toys for the children - everything was clean and working with no missing pieces!! it is better equipped and designed than my own home! In addition, the hostess Yoko is very attentive and responsive - whatever we needed she helped, whether it's providing us with bicycles even from the neighbors, or fresh milk from the dairy farm. She is also a wonderful cook and we had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and every day Yoko would cook different meals and serve them fresh, and every bite was an absolute delight. Would definitely stay again.
An absolute gem of a property. We enjoyed every moment. The house was clean and had absolutely everything that you’d need and more. The only regret was not being able to stay longer. This was my first time touring Hokkaido and we’ve stayed in 8 hotels. Ezura Farm was the best stay of all. Thank you for the warm welcome. WE WILL BE BACK!
Comfortable beds, lovely rustic interior, kitchen had everything you need, everything was clean, spacious shower rooms. Staff helped me carry my big luggage up the stairs which was really nice. I could also leave my luggage at the hostel for two days after I checked out, so i could do a short trip with only my backpack.
Boken Kazoku was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was by far the best part. They were kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. We loved the dinner we had there as well and the deer in the curry was shot by Ana-san, one of the owners! Very rustic indeed :) The rooms were great though with traditional futons. We had a heater in the room, a lovely view outside, and a nice communal kitchen as well.
Family run traditional accommodation in a lovely rural setting on the outskirts of Abishiri. Helpful hosts and our stay included a delicious home cooked breakfast.
Farm house style - loved the layout and decor in the whole building. Owners (husband and wife) were very accommodating, and were more than happy to have a quick chat, give me some locals tips on where to visit, what to eat etc.
Very nice farm house
Cottage was rustic and as authentic as a farm can get.
Well...what can I say? This farm house is one of a kind. Beautiful. Beautiful in and out of the house. I slept in the second floor dormitory hall with two Japanese couples and it was very clean and the common area was spacious. All the small figures are cute and beautiful. Electrical outlets everywhere. The landlady was so kind. The kitchen area is beautiful. Big bathroom with big bathtub. And the surroundings. The scenery was out of the description. Don't miss this beautiful farmhouse if you visit Abashiri.
