Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Everything was excellent: comfy and spacious room (large room on the 1st floor, not the ground floor), good bed and pillows, nice view at the garden, very quite, tasty breakfasts, very nice and friendly staff. The isolation could be better, but as it is an old building, the guests are expected to moderate the noise. So this place is excellent for couples looking for a relaxing vacation. The area is popular for fishing and hiking, and car hire is available at the farm stay. If you would like to discover the area, windsurfing, diving and cycling are possible in the surroundings and A Casa Estrelícia-Dourada Garcês can arrange a bicycle rental service. it was very calm and relaxing; slept so deep and long. and we felt at home.

Casas da Levada features free WiFi. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a seating area and terrace or patio, for guests' convenience. We had a very nice stay at Casas da Levada for two nights. Lovely place that I would recommend to anyone!

The apartments and studios are set in renovated family vineyard houses. Each of the self-catering units comes with a fully-equipped kitchenette, bedroom, garden and a furnished terrace. The heated units have a cosy living area. Free WiFi is available in all areas. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Presenting a rustic style, materials as basalt stone and wood are combined in harmony with a fireplace in the living room. A flat-screen cable TV is included. There is a double room and a modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. Beautiful setting in the mountains outside of Camacha surrounded by flowers everywhere. Such a lovely place to stay and we would come home to little surprises every evening.

Breakfast is included in the rate and the guests are the ones preparing their own meals at their accommodation. We provide the following food for breakfast: farm eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, cheese,ham, butter and homemade jams. Guests can also enjoy the barbecue area. The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

A fridge and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The perfect villa for any budding explorer looking to enjoy the natural beauty that Madeira’s landscape has to offer, or fire safety enthusiast looking for the gold standard in both prevention and cover (should the silent assassin come knocking). Where should we start? Correct extinguishers; clearly labelled, easily accessible, all within close proximity of the hazard identified. Fire escapes clear from obstruction and surprise surprise, correctly signposted. Please also note the independently powered lighting in this escape route, a touch that didn’t go un noticed. Manual alarm points, correctly installed and labelled no more than 1.4m from the ground and fully serviceable (we checked). Fire blankets conveniently stored next to cooking hazards and what’s more, with English instructions. At no point during our stay did we feel our safety was being compromised by lousy fire safety protocols or unserviceable equipment. We slept soundly, knowing everything had been done to protect us.. because we all know… fire doesn’t sleep.

Featuring mountain and garden views, this farm stay also has free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. When we think of paradise we think Quinta Terezinha! This hilltop country farmhouse is the perfect retreat for relaxation and solitude. The Hosts Laura and her father are excellent from attention to details and communication skills to providing special goodies upon arrival. There are many places to see on this island but we just did not want to leave the peaceful setting of this very special accommodation. Cats come with this deal and in my opinion make this place feel like home away from home. We love, love, love Quinta Terezinha and we how you will too!
